Drive and Thrive

What is it that makes people succeed in life? 

There are so many people we look up too for inspiration like our last blog post ‘Inspiration for the nation’ explained. We want to be successful in life, make our families proud, and support those we want to support. We work on average 92 000 hours in a life time. Hours that we dedicate to succeed. 

In an industry like the hair industry, which is expanding rapidly and incredibly vibrant, it is vital to keep your drive and to thrive day to day in your working life. 

I have been with Swanky Malone salon for nearly two years now, as of May 1st to be exact. I started as an apprentice and now proudly a qualified junior barber,  a journey i am thoroughly  enjoying and so excited to see what lies ahead. 

 

Whilst the industry is vibrant and constantly moving forward, it is very important to be ahead of the game and proactive in your learning and understanding in this incredibly diverse profession. There are so many people out there passing on their knowledge, sharing their understanding of hair, and feeding inspiration to those who are striving to be the best they can be. 

Goals are set to be achieved! 

One extends ones limit by only exceeding them.
