2025 Golden Globes Hairstyles - Emma Stone Pixie Cut & More

The 2025 Golden Globes red carpet was a showcase of glamorous hairstyles, with many celebrities embracing retro-inspired looks that combined classic elegance with modern flair. I honestly have been in awe of this year's looks tickling my personal fancy ;)

Standout hair trends and styles from the Golden Globes

Old Hollywood Bob

The Old Hollywood bob emerged as a dominant trend, with stars like Zendaya and Selena Gomez leading the way. Zendaya captivated onlookers with a chin-length bob featuring soft, voluminous curls, perfectly complementing her burnt-orange Louis Vuitton gown. Hairstylist Coree Moreno achieved this look using traditional rollers and Nexxus Volume Medium Hold Mousse to create significant volume. For our alternative use Authentic Beauty Concept Amplify Mousse for beautiful lightweight hold, heat protection and care.

Similarly, Selena Gomez channeled vintage glamour with structured waves and a deep side part, inspired by icons such as Sophia Loren and Marilyn Monroe. Hairstylist Renato Campora utilized Joico's JoiWhip Design Foam and ghd's Helios Hair Dryer to craft this sophisticated style. Again Authentic Beauty Concept Mousse will work wonders with this style. Finishing off with Solid Pomade for shine and that sophistication ;)

Voluminous Bouffants

Nicole Kidman made a statement with a voluminous bouffant reminiscent of 1960s and 1970s styles. Her hairstylist, Adir Abergel, drew inspiration from the Studio 54 era, enhancing Kidman's length with BELLAMI Silk Seam Clip-In Extensions and smoothing her natural curls with Virtue Healing Oil. Here I would opt for ABC Indulging Oil and Solid Pomade to assist in this look :)

Retro Ponytails

Ariana Grande showcased her signature ponytail with a vintage twist, featuring a bouncy style and side-swept bangs that evoked Audrey Hepburn's iconic look. Notably, Grande debuted a honey "bronde" hair color, blending brunette and blonde tones for a fresh appearance. This is a firm favourite for colour inspiration in 2025 for me :)

Sleek and Polished Styles

Margaret Qualley opted for a sleek, long hairstyle with loose waves and added volume at the crown, exuding a classic and timeless elegance. Hairstylist Tracey Cunningham provided Qualley's hair with a regal shine, enhancing the overall polished look. Solid Pomade and Strong Hold Hairspray would be my weapons of choice here.

Modern Pixie Cuts

Emma Stone surprised attendees and stole the show in my opinion by debuting a chic pixie cut, signaling a potential trend toward shorter hairstyles for the upcoming spring season. Her new look drew significant attention, with many praising its elegance and modernity. Face shape is the number one component in a pixie cut and second (for me) is colour :) Emma absolutely nails it! It's hard to mess up a style this short on a night out but I would opt for Solid Pomade for shine and hold while coating lightly with working hairspray, a more malleable set and finish.

These hairstyles from the 2025 Golden Globes highlight a resurgence of retro-inspired trends, seamlessly blending vintage charm with contemporary styling techniques. From voluminous bobs to sleek ponytails, the red carpet offered a variety of looks that are both timeless and inspiring for the year ahead.
