We live in an era where knowledge and power is literally at our fingertips, the question is do you know how to use it?

Since before I started my own business my goal has to be on stage speaking to and inspiring people in a subject that I am so passionate about. The industry is full of influential people and to be asked to do a presentation at The Gentlemen’s Grooming and Lifestyle Show in Tobacco Dock London, our capital, among those influential people, was a dream come true.

I would like to say how proud it makes me feel that this world renowned series has chosen Liverpool to do most of its filming. The history and culture from the days of the peaky blinders has such a strong presence within our city, you cant help but feel privileged.

Yesterday I ventured into the salon to refresh my clients (Mia) hair. Mia had previously been in to see me about 3 weeks prior to this appointment for a full revamp. Now Mia, who I hope will forgive me for saying this, is not a frequent visitor to the shop. In fact I have only done Mia’s hair 3 times in total over a time period I will not mention as I feel I wont wake up tomorrow if I do!…let me brake down the visits in detail for you:

Last week was the super glamorous National T.V Awards which hosted an array of familiar faces from the small screen. Although I say ‘small screen’ a lot of T.V series now include big screen names and are far more popular and entertaining than ever before.

This weeks topic is all about the most popular, most sort after colour on the market at the moment! The most amazing looking Grey/Ash tone hair. This particular colour hair looks incredible and I must say we are a big fan of it at Swanky's.
